ORANGE. This is one of my favorite works that I made using the scraping technique. I made a base with ridges that I built up reds and oranges to give it a flame like appearance.

A piece that ended up looking like the side of an actual boxcar, or maybe a vintage refrigerator, that I was able to preserve in time with oil paint.
