  • Was the Lead Front End Developer for the Sears property “mygofer.com”.
  • Maintained and actively used a codebase of CSS and jQuery/javascript amongst developers on-site, in Bogota, Columbia and India which was shared in all Sears Holdings eCommerce properties.
  • Worked with UX Designers to provide project deliverables to Development for new site functionality and experiences to update the usability of mygofer.com
  • Fixed site bugs within JIRA. Provided fixes in CSS, HTML, jQuery and also updated images and sprites.
  • Worked on the core of the site including feature updates to the functionality and look and feel of the site’s header as well as update to the functionality of the search and browse results.
  • Responsible for pushing the site towards modern web technology: especially CSS3 buttons and gradients; moving away from bandwidth heavy image-based buttons, button sprites and graphics.
  • Took part in two performance initiatives. The first: creating sprites of all of the site‘s graphics in maintainable Photoshop files that all of the developers could access and edit under version control. The second: a performance upgrade to sprites and CSS that only touched the header and search pages to provide faster download times for the end-user.
  • Was on the lead Front End developer for the second iteration of Sears’ Halloween campaign “Sears Zombies”
  • Was one the ideators and the sole illustrator for the mygofer viral campaign “Talk like a Pirate”.
